I was a fool that I had failed in the last teacher employment exam. It was an expected risk and I knew well about when the exam would take place and what to prepare for it, from the beginning, I mean from the first year of my university years. I ignored all the facts which prove my incompetence in taking the exam successfully. Also, I didn't study habitually. A minute ago, I saw a girl who looked 15, at best. She studied very hard in this library of GINUE, even on Sunday night. Ah! I should have studied like the girl in the past! (26'46")

Today, I read the teacher's guide to Elementary English Curriculum. The guide was written by professors and researchers who built the 7th curriculum of South Korea. According to the book, the main purpose of elementary English is to help children maintain their interest and will to study, toward English. So, the 7th curriculum advises teachers of elementary English to adopt exciting games and songs during the classes. Among those games, my favorite is bingo. Through playing bingo, children can have chances to practice listening, reading and writing words. (23'11")

Today, there was another meeting for my study group and the topic was scientific education. Like last week, YS sat next to me and I was glad to be with her. During the meeting, she confessed that she likes me as a good friend. But also, she said that she couldn't regard me as a man. Oh! YS! Please come to me closer! I am ready to love you dearly, from the bottom of my heart. Fortunately, she loves my sense of humor. So, I will do my best to be her man. If I fail in my attempt to be her boyfriend, maybe I shall come to marry an ugly woman. (20'53")

In the afternoon, I saw a homeless man at Noryangjin Station. He was right in front of me, when he picked up a beverage cup from a trash can. Since the cup was made of transparent plastic, I could see that it still contained a third of its original amount. It looked like a lemonade! Then, he began to drink it without hesitancy. He was a handsome middle-aged man who tried to find something to drink in a trash can. What had happened to him in the past? Could he expect his present life as a beggar about 20 years ago? In fact, I couldn't imagine my present position as a lonely jobless man 20 years ago! (26'37")

These days, I studied the general introduction of scientific education. Science is a process of building reliable knowledge, based on evidences. And those evidences can be collected through two main scientific means: observation and experiment. First, there are two types of observations: pure observation and quantitative observation. Pure observation is usually done by our natural senses such as hearing, sight, and the taste, while quantitative observation is based on observation equipment like ruler or scale. What about experiment? In short, experiment is a game of controlling conditions of a situation, in order to find out certain relation of cause and effect. (26'44")

Sometimes, I envy animals for their simple lifestyle. Normally, either in the zoo or in the jungle, animals can lead a successful life only by following their own basic instincts. For example, they can marry their partners when the time comes, naturally. Also, they can hunt and eat things without longterm education. So, there is no such thing as unemployment or celibacy in the world of animals. Moreover, there is no crime in the jungle. As a jobless person, I think to myself: Some of my basic instincts have been denied due to my social status as a jobless man. Is my life really better than that of a dog? (31'14")

Today, I met my niece, So-eun, again. My sister and So-eun visited home after a long time. Now, she had already mastered walking and running! And also, her pronunciations, when she said "Mom" or "Dad", were perfect. Above all, I was very glad to see that she was healthy. Whenever I am with children, I feel like time stands still. Perhaps, human beings can live longer by being a parent. Those who can stop time are people I love dearly. Oh! I want to get married! These days, time flies like a rocket, because I don't have my own wife and children. (23'34")

After a long time, today, I took a TOEIC test at Dangsan Middle School. Now that I made up my mind to be an elementary teacher in Gyeonggi Province, I don't have to take a TOEIC for additional points which will be given to those who want to teach in Jeonnam Province. But about one and a half months ago, I was indecisive about where to teach. Since I am very good at TOEIC, today's test was also an easy game to play. But my sense of listening was weaker than it used to be. I think I should take some time for English listening. (20'25")

Today, I studied the general introduction of scientific education at the main library of GINUE in Incheon. Since I don't have a personal air conditioner in my room, it is very hard for me to study in my room during the summer. So, in order to enjoy a public air conditioner, I headed for the library in the morning. As I expected, the library was a proper place for both study and rest! In the evening, I ate A4-sized pork cutlet at an eatery called "A4 Pork Cutlet". The eatery's owner was once a chef at Seoul Plaza Hotel, as far as I know. I think he is a master of pork cutlet and that is why I eat his dish, whenever I visit Incheon. (29'48")

At Jeongdok Public Library, I had a study group meeting from 09:00 to 18:20. We discussed major issues about music education and practical arts education. Like last time, Miss Jo sat right beside me. She sometimes stared me in the face with a smiling face. I wanted to ask her like this: What's so funny? She is a tall, attractive lady who has currently no boyfriend. So, I often felt like dating with her. However, since I am the leader of the study group, I can hardly express my feelings toward her. My first and foremost policy in running the study group is to eliminate all obstacles to our success. And one of those obstacles is a romance between members. (25'16")
